 The keys are designed to lock into place when inserted into the radio, allowing you to pull the radio out without the use of additional tools. Removing Radios without the correct  release keys can be very difficult or can damage your unit. The removal Keys are sold in pairs (1 pack = 2 keys ).

Vauxhall Radio Release Keys to remove the majority of radios as fitted in later Vauxhall radios 

that have the removal holes either side of the radio spaced out approx 4" as opposed to 2". If your radio has 1 or 2 holes at each side of the radio, spaced approx 2" apart 

see the DIN keys above.For some Vauxhalls you have to remove the 4 small studs with an Allen key (5/64") 

before you can insert the keys.
